If you are like me, it isn’t uncommon to spend eight or ten (or even more!) hours sitting in front of a computer screen. During the winter months, that means that all of the daylight was burning while I spent time working in front of the “black mirror.”
One thing I have done over the years is to go through my photo archives and find beautiful nature images that I appreciate and enjoy looking at and resizing them to fit as wallpaper for my laptop’s main display.
(One of my favorite images is of a water lily from a trip to the Missouri Botanical Garden which serves as today’s cover photo.)
I never gave much thought to the idea that simple action may be good for my mental health. Until a few days ago.
I came across an article published on Moss & Fog titled Digitally Detox with These Peaceful Naturescapes featuring the photography of Johannes Plenio.
His work is clean, crisp, and seemingly simple images, although the technical skills involved in making some of the images is complex.
Take some time to look through his work and let me know in the comments which is your favorite.
