More than 11 years ago, I lost my mom to cancer.
There have been many things that have happened in my life during those years that I wish I could share with her or seek her advice about.
I took it for granted that she would be around to talk with…even if I wasn’t the best son and didn’t talk with her as regularly as I should have.
Lost opportunities…
As we celebrate mothers everywhere today, I want to say “thank you” to my mom for all she did for me and my brother. We may not have lived perfect lives, but I think we’ve done pretty well.
