Tonight, Alice Drive Baptist Church begins its annual Vacation Bible School program, themed “Ready, Set, Move!”
This year is going to be different. In addition to holding VBS at the main campus, it is also going to take place at the newest location on the south side of Sumter, the Pocalla Campus.
The church is assembling a team of photographers to document events and provide materials for the communications and social media teams to have fresh content on a regular basis.
The four-night event at the main campus will be covered by Peter, one of the church’s long-time photographers. I will be taking on coverage at Pocalla.
It’s going to be the first time since moving to South Carolina in the summer of 2021 that I’ve been involved in photographing an event on any scale.
Needless to say, I am excited to be getting back behind the camera on a regular basis and doing what I love.
