Six Days a Week

Anyone familiar with the Chick-fil-A brand knows you can only get your fix for their signature sandwiches six days a week.

Sorry, Mom, but you can’t celebrate Mother’s Day with waffle fries. But, in all fairness, neither can Dad on Father’s Day.

That business model has been in effect since the company was founded in 1946 (originally called the Dwarf Grill) by S. Truett Cathy.

The Wall Street Journal took a peek behind the popular fast food chain and its unique approach in the video, “Behind Chick-fil-A’s Unconventional Franchise Model.”

It’s a fascinating glimpse behind the curtain of this privately owned company, which is succeeding in a nationally competitive market.
