I know that many parents—especially those of young children—feel that their child is special, unique, or otherwise distinct from other children.
For one set of parents in the United Kingdom, their son is special. And he has the paperwork to prove it.
Joseph Harris-Birtill, at the age of two, has accomplished something very few humans have: he is a member of Mensa.
Yes, THAT Mensa. The exclusive club whose membership consists exclusively of individuals with an IQ greater than 132.
He received his membership at the ripe young age of 2 years and 182 days.
When I was that age, I’m sure I was trying to master cartoon watching, reading board books, or something else.
I did not know Morse code. I sure didn’t know the Greek alphabet. And I certainly didn’t have any clue what the periodic table is.
But Joseph? He’s just raising the bar for infants and toddlers everywhere. LOL
Seriously, though, it’s impressive for his accomplishments. I suspect he will do great things in the world.
