Living in South Carolina, I regularly drive past acres and acres of pine trees. My street is lined with them, and a couple are in the back corner of my property. When the pine cones start falling from the limbs, they litter that corner of the yard and make quite the ruckus when I hit one with the lawn mower.
I may have to retrieve one of the pine cones this year and try to grow my own tree.
