RIP Coach Knight

I was a student at Indiana University in the early 90s. While working for the student newspaper, I had the opportunity to attend many Indiana basketball games over my four years there.

The one thing I could count on, as a photographer, was an emotional Coach, Bob Knight, passionately performing his craft on the sidelines of Assembly Hall.

A few moments ago, I received word that he was relieved of command at 83 years old.

There was a love-hate relationship between Knight and the media over the years. He hates stupid press conference questions but always proved to be visually interesting because of his passion.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. As do those of the Hoosier Nation, I’m sure.
