Outside my mud room door stand two rose bushes. One produces red roses; the other is white. (A third rose planted in the backyard has never flowered and is destined to be dug up this year.)
I have no idea what varieties these are, as they were here when we bought the place two years ago.
As I went out to run errands today, I saw the white rose blooming one more time. With winter temperatures—and possible frost warnings—on the near horizon, I am not sure how many more flowers we will get this year.
There had been a light drizzle this morning, so there were some droplets on the delicate petals. It is just the type of beauty that I like to capture with my favorite camera: whichever one I happen to have with me. (In this case, an iPhone 13 Pro Max.)
