Upgrade #4: Personal Preference

After spending a few days with the Nikon Z6 II and doing a photo shoot for Alice Drive Baptist Church, I just couldn’t get comfortable with the handling of the camera body.

My experience with camera is to use ones with either a detachable battery pack or one where the body has a larger grip built-in.

Enter the Nikon MB-N11. This attachment not only increases the battery storage for my camera from one battery to two, it also provides me with additional controls when shooting vertical images.

As you can imagine, portraits and sports both have a fair share of vertical images and this functionality is one I’ve gotten used to over the years.

Moments after setting up the MB-N11, the new rig seemed much more natural in my hand. I did some snapshots around the house and can definitively say this upgrade was worth it.
