Tonight, Alice Drive Baptist Church had a Pizza Packing Party—packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child at all three of its campuses.
I had the privilege of breaking out the new camera and photographing the event at the main campus. So many families turned out for the evening’s pizza party and stuffing shoeboxes.
As expected, the photography aspect of the event was a little challenging as I started learning and figuring out the various buttons on the camera. The small body size was also a challenge; I spent a good chunk of the night worried I would drop the camera. Definitely need to make one more equipment purchase.
Back to the boxes…
The items for children around the world were purchased by the money raised from Vacation Bible School earlier this month.
I don’t even know how many boxes were packed at this location, let alone at all three campuses.
For a first time event, church leadership was very happy with the turnout.
